These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and 1DocRetrieval. ## Description of Services 1DocRetrieval provides professional document retrieval services including but not limited to: - Vital record retrieval from federal and state agencies - Vital records (birth, death, marriage certificates) - Corporate documents and filings - Educational records and transcripts - Medical records (HIPAA compliant) - DMV and vehicle records - Real estate and property records - International document services including apostille ## User Responsibilities When using our services, you agree to: - Provide accurate and complete information for document requests - Have proper authorization to request the documents - Use retrieved documents only for lawful purposes - Pay all applicable fees in a timely manner - Not misrepresent your identity or authority to obtain documents - Comply with all applicable laws and regulations ## Pricing and Payment **Service Fees:** Pricing varies based on document type, jurisdiction, and turnaround time. A quote will be provided before work begins. **Government Fees:** Additional fees charged by government agencies, agencies, or other entities are passed through to the client at cost. **Payment Terms:** Payment is required before document retrieval begins unless other arrangements have been made for established accounts. **Additional Charges:** Rush services, copy costs, mailing, and other special requests may incur additional fees. ## Turnaround Times Estimated turnaround times are provided as good-faith estimates based on typical processing. Actual delivery times may vary due to factors beyond our control, including government agency processing times, agency schedules, mail delivery, and document availability. We are not responsible for delays caused by third parties or circumstances beyond our control. ## Refund Policy **Service Fee Refunds:** If we are unable to retrieve the requested document after reasonable effort, our service fee will be refunded in full. **Government Fees:** Fees paid to government agencies are generally non-refundable once submitted, as these are determined by the issuing agency's policies. **Cancellations:** Orders may be cancelled before work begins for a full refund. Once work has commenced, refunds will be prorated based on work completed. ## Limitation of Liability To the maximum extent permitted by law: - Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question - We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages - We are not responsible for the accuracy or authenticity of documents issued by third parties - We do not guarantee that any document can be retrieved, as availability depends on the issuing agency ## Confidentiality We maintain strict confidentiality regarding all client information and documents.
